6 Foods That Help You Lose Weight Fast

If you’re reading this then chances are you’re seeking a way to shed some pounds. Like anything else this requires a lot of dedication, work and sacrifice. A good workout perhaps. Then again, there are plenty other factors required to burn some weight and a diet is most likely a main one. What are some of the foods you can eat to lose some weight? I’ve listed 6 below.

They are low in both calories and carbohydrates, but loaded with fiber.

Eating leafy greens is a great way to increase the volume of your meals, without increasing the calories. Numerous studies show that meals and diets with a low energy density make people eat fewer calories overall. They are very nutritious and high in minerals.

Avocados are also a good food source for weight loss.

They are particularly high in monounsaturated oleic acid, the same type of fat found in olive oil.

Despite being mostly fat, they also contain a lot of water, so they aren’t as energy dense as you may think.

They also contain many important nutrients, including fiber and potassium.

3. NUTS

Despite being high in fat, nuts are not inherently fattening.

They’re an excellent snack, containing balanced amounts of protein, fiber and healthy fats.

Studies have shown that eating nuts can improve metabolic health and even cause weight loss.

4. Fruits

Most health experts agree that fruit is healthy.

Numerous population studies have shown that people who eat the most fruit (and vegetables) tend to be healthier than people who don’t.

Even though they contain sugar, they have a low energy density and take a while to chew. Plus, the fiber helps prevent the sugar from being released too quickly into the bloodstream.

In short they are very nutritious,delicious and help  lose weight.

5. BEANS

Some beans and legumes are great for losing weight. These include black beans, kidney beans and some others.

These foods tend to be high in protein and fiber, which are two nutrients that have been shown to lead to satiety.

They also tend to contain some resistant starch.

Patatoes, especially when boiled are also an excellent choice for your weight loss diet.

They contain an incredibly diverse range of nutrients, a little bit of almost everything we need. They are particularly high in potassium, a nutrient that most people don’t get enough of and plays an important role in blood pressure control.

Sweet potatoes, turnips and other root vegetables are also great.
